I’m Declan Dowd, founder and operator of Dowd’s Pipe and Cable Locating. My background spans decades in civil construction, subdivision works, and underground asset installation. When I established this business over six years ago, my goal was simple — to deliver accurate, efficient, and professional underground utility locating services that help prevent costly damage and keep worksites safe.

Our team combines hands-on experience with the latest in ground penetrating radar (GPR), thermal imaging, electromagnetic detection, and CCTV inspection technology. We maintain current accreditations and undergo continual training to stay ahead of evolving industry standards. That means every job we complete is done safely, efficiently, and in line with the latest Australian safety requirements.
